First, note that currently (07-Sep-1999) you do not have to register for an NT account to use the College PC lab. In the future, this will change. You can check this web page for more info.
Using a web server (either in the lab, or at home) browse to the secure page https://www.engr.unl.edu/ntaccount.html. Note that you'll have to accept the security certificate (we don't pay to have our certificate signed. Then, fill out the form which asks a few things about you (such as your Student ID #, Name, email address, etc). It also asks what you want your account to be called. Currently, this is limited to at most 8, lowercase characters and numbers, starting with a character.
Accounts currently have a 1000 page/semester printing quota.
