Hardware in the College PC lab

Half the computers in the College PC lab consist of 21 Dell 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo processors located in the North North half of the lab (16N WSEC), purchased in 2003.

The other half the computers in the College PC lab consist of 21 Dell 3.4 GHz Pentium IV processors located in the South half of the lab (15N SEC), purchased in 2005.

Two of the systems are the instructor stations. These connect to a Proxima AV 9310 video projector allowing 1024x768 resolution video to be displayed on a screen at the front of the class. There is also a unit to allow views of slides, transparencies, and 3d objects to be fed to the Proxima projector. The Proximas also have the capability to be fed video from a VCR or other video output device which could then be displayed.
