In the case of student accounts, the account will remain valid for
as long as the student is on the roster (ie, registered for a class
in the College of Engineering & Technology). They will not be
required to renew their accounts each semester. The account of a
student who does not appear on the roster for the current semester,
will be made invalid and eventually will be removed. Accounts at the
end of the spring semester will be carried over the summer and will
still be valid at the beginning of the following fall semester.
Accounts of students who leave the College of Engineering & Technology
(other than by graduation) will have 2 weeks to move their files to
another system before the account is closed. If desired, the user
can inform the system manager of the system and have their email
forwarded to another system for a semester's period.
Accounts of faculty, staff, and other accounts will remain valid until
the person leaves the university, or by special arrangement.
